Outcomes, not tasks

Doing things is not the same as getting things done. Doing things is motion. Getting things done is progress. Motion is tasks. Progress is outcomes.

Motion can happen without progress. Motion can get in the way of progress. Motion can create the illusion of progress.

The goal of productivity is not to be able cram as many tasks as possible in a day. Isolate the one needed to make progress. Defer the rest.

Goal of productivity is progress. Goal of productivity is freedom of mind.
